diamond cutting and drilling sector, of the construction industry.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business
Development Manager will lead and drive a consistent approach towards the
growth of the company, provide weekly & monthly score cards and deliver the bimonthly presentation for the
company’s sales meeting.
In this exciting new role, the key to success will be exceeding the current targets and KPI’s of circa £100,000 gross profit
from new business growth, within your first year.
A background gained with a similar business and targets will be necessary.
Planning your tasks to ensure you have a daily/weekly schedule set out in a pro-active manner
Create a robust sales plan to ensure delivery of revenue against targets and KPI’s
Develop a Sales Pipeline with accurate customer forecasting
Calling and selling to new & existing customers on a regular and scheduled manner, record on
Intact each bullet point with the aim that you have all information to hand for
the next call.
Update Intact CRM with all relevant information so that anyone can continue to effectively deal with
the information as necessary
Develop and maintain quality relationships with customers and prospects to ensure the company's
brands, products, image, reputation, and achievements are represented to
Manage and resolve customer issues within a timely manner, record, escalate to Sales Manager if
Ask for leads and references that can be followed up in a timely manner.
Create a quote for each verbal quote given and follow up in the timescale relating to the quote.
To work within a team environment in a pro-active manner whilst being sensitive to your colleague’s
Taking orders over the phone for colleagues when they are not available.
To contribute to the whole sales team and meet all deadlines and targets.
Must be a skilled negotiator
Must have ability to work under
pressure and to tight timescales.
Must be very target driven and someone
who thrives in a sale’s driven environment.
