Job Title - Customer Service Co-Ordinator

Location - Carlisle

Contract - Full Time, Permanent

Hours - 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Salary – up to £26k (Negotiable D.O.E)

 Are you a customer representative or internal sales representative, looking for you next career move?

Our client who is the largest integrated forestry business in the UK with around 1700 employees and turning over more than £500m, are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative who lives and breathes the values of their customer needs.

To be successful for the role you will have experience of supporting a sales department or key account management within a manufacturing environment or similar industry.

About you.

  • Proven track record of account management with forecasting

  • Knowledge of timber and manufacturing processes would be beneficial

  • Confident as you will be influencing and negotiating with customers

  • Organised as you will be planning and prioritising a busy workload

  • You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Computer literate, specifically in Excel.

  • Metric/Imperial measurement understanding

  • A good eye for detail, problem solving and approaching these in a consulting manner

  • Can work to tight deadlines

Your day-to-day role:

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be doing the following

  • Answering Customer Service Centre (CSC) calls, direct dial telephone and email enquiries ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner and professionally.

  • Inputting customer orders and enquiries into the CSC electronic system, acknowledging orders, confirming pricing and product information

  • Review customers order history to plan and forecast their future needs, ensuring service expectations are met and exceeded.

  • Proactive approach in contacting customers, following up on orders and making offers of focus/reject/2nd grade stock

  • Maintain and record interactions via Salesforce, CRM system

  • Record any corrective actions taken with customers and monitor to achieve a successful outcome

  • Liaise between customer, logistics, credit control, marketing, planning and the sawmills.

  • Ensure individual and group KPIs are met when required.
