Job Title – HR Business Partner
Location – Lanark
Hours – Full time, 1 day per week WFH
Salary – up to £45k DOE plus bonus

The role –
A key member of the Operations Management Team, understanding their needs and developing and deploying key people practices supporting their objectives, such as development wheels, our goal review cycle or rising talent early careers programme
Number two in the People Department, playing a key role in developing and driving the annual people plan, and representing the people team during exec meets as required
Partners with the operations management team and partner people managers to support and embed change throughout the factory, engaging the wider people team and key stakeholders
Partners with and coaches managers to develop engaged high performing teams who work well with each other and with other teams throughout our business
Partners with managers to define their talent needs for now and in the future, supporting recruitment and people development, and enabling the deployment of our Rising Talent early careers programme
Partners with our Continuous improvement team to deploy our training framework throughout operations
Facilitates internal communication meets, overseeing our company communication framework and championing strong 2-way communication throughout the Company
Supports and champions people manager development, putting in place learning and development solutions, including the development and delivery of internal training as necessary
Accountable for ensuring that all people policies, procedures and systems meet business needs and comply with relevant employment law legislation, as supported by the wider People Team
Responsible for enabling partner managers to handle employee relations cases, such as absence, disciplinary, grievance and flexible working requests, producing support, tools and relevant documentation as required

About you –
CIPD qualified
Significant experience in an HR generalist role, partnering with people managers
Experience developing and implementing HR strategy
Broad HR generalist experience, understanding how HR can support business objectives
Broad knowledge of HR best practice across talent management, recruitment, employee relations and L&D
Strong change management experience
Proficient IT skills, such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
Desirable
Experience in an HRBP role
People Manager experience
Experience in a similar fast paced environment, such as manufacturing or logistics
Experience working in an SME
Experience supporting internal communication
