We are seeking to recruit an Office Manager to join the busy dedicated team in Dumfries & Galloway.
With 150 years expertise Shortridge Laundry have been providing a specialist laundry and linen-hire services with tailored deliveries to thousands of customers within the tourism and hospitality industry.
Reporting to the General Manager
Responsibilities will include customer services, supplier relations, purchasing, credit control, assistance with IT infrastructure across the business, supporting senior managers with special projects, HR support, H & S administration, general administration and business support as required, responsible for four office staff.
You will be highly efficient with an organised approach to work, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow processes, confident, enthusiastic, proactive and a self-motivated team player with the flexibility and pace required to work effectively in a small team in a fast paced and often pressurised environment. A good level of education, excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent time management, dealing with and supporting the team in working to constantly changing workload and fixed deadlines, highly IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a supportive, friendly and informal office environment with an open and collaborative management style. We are happy to consider an experienced Office Manager or a highly capable Administrator with a proactive approach who is keen to take on additional responsibilities.
